The UK has faced some very uncertain times over the last six months. The country was put into lockdown in March and while some areas have started to re-open with precautions in place, many towns have been forced back into a local lockdown.

While the impact of Coronavirus on businesses has largely been focussed on the financial implications and employee job security, as companies start to open their doors again, other issues have started to present themselves.

One of the many problems that businesses have found themselves dealing with is the consequences of an empty premises – especially when this wasn’t planned for. This has unfortunately given pests free reign and with plenty of food and shelter available, many companies have been greeted with infestations upon their return.
