It\u2019s not often we can say this, but the UK is currently enjoying a very pleasant summer. With temperatures reaching record levels and plenty of sunny days, it means we\u2019ve been able to make the most of outdoor living. While lunchtime strolls and dinners in the garden have been thoroughly enjoyable, the downside is the pests which come along to gatecrash the fun.<\/p>\n
Although summer pests are very common, they\u2019re not nice to deal with \u2013 especially when it comes to bees. These insects play a crucial role in the survival of our environment, but they\u2019re feared by many because of the threat of being stung.With up to 400 bees in a nest, it\u2019s the last thing anyone wants to see close to their home.<\/p>\n
If you see or suspect that you may have a nest, please contact a professional pest controller as soon as possible. This is exactly what one of our recent customers did and it meant that we could deal with the situation quickly, safely and successfully.<\/p>\n
As you can see in the image, our customer had a large bee\u2019s nest under their fascia boards. If you look closely you can even see lots of intricate honeycombs!\u200b
\nOur team removed the bees, safely relocated them and all the honey residue was removed. The bees that weren\u2019t in the nest at the time hung around for a few days (which is perfectly normal) and then moved on.<\/p>\n
