While you don\u2019t want to completely dry the soil out, doing so just a little bit can have enough of an impact on the grub and earthworm population to encourage moles to go elsewhere<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0If you want to protect specific plants from potential mole damage, dig a two to three-foot hole and line the sides and bottom with wire mesh. Fill the hole with soil and the plant so moles can\u2019t get to them<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Invest in a sonic device which omits a sound which is audible to moles but not humans.
